Volant is what I use. I cut the baffles out and I noticed after i hit 100mph it picked up faster than with the slp lid and ram air. I think i need to get better filters lightly oiled k&n. DOES Amsoil make cone filters?

I run the Volant with the filters it came with and k&n cleaning kit with a granatelli maf((factory one crapped out) and have no issues. I clean the maf everytime I do the filters and just a light oiling. Problems come from over oiling them. I have the hood debaffled and rain was never an issue yet and it comes down hard here in Houston while I have a suv and a 5.0 mustang for dd's I still take the car to work a lot, it's by no means a garage queen.
I have the slp lid, and the volant I need to get a cleaning kit for the filters on the volant. Truthfully their was some things I hated about the volant but the lid is so much worse with fitment issues, so I am def going back to the volant soon.
Volant is the only way to go on a TA. Twice the Hp improvement on the dyno vs. three different lids. No contest. Fits with the Mecham hood flawlessly, too.
