I just got the car a few weeks ago...'98 TA M6...not a true WS6, but it has an aftermarket ram air hood and '02 WS6 wheels...it also has SLP LT headers, SLP lid, K & N filter, Random Tech cat, Borla catback, BMR subframe connectors, panhard rod, torque arm, sway bars, and 3.73 gears.

^ his car is most likely a trans am. All t/as and formulas have formula on the title as that is what both cars start as. The hood is aftermarket. base model t/a's also came stock with 16's.

I couldnt help ya with that decision, cause i think it looks badass with either of them. What kind of suspension work you got done to it? Its got a nice rake to it.
The rake is mostly because of the tires on the skinnies. :yup:
Little shorter up front. Really weird on the street for sure.
Suspension is pretty basic.
UMI parts for the most part.
Adjustable tunnel braced torque arm
Adjustable panhard bar
Rear lower control arms (tubular)
LCA brackets with the arms in the lowest position
3 point subframe connectors
And of course the worthless early mod....the strut tower brace.
Car has no front sway bar and uses the BMR rear sway bar brackets for the larger rear axle.
Wow, im speechless man, ive always loved black TA's. And seeing youre's just reminds me of why i like'em so much. Youre car is very nicely done, its clean and simple and has the elegant lines it came with with the addition of a lowered stance, a nice wheel/tire pakage,(and that badass motor you got in it) to compliment it. Less is more in my opinion. Nice work bro. :usa:

I think it looks NASTY(in a good way!) it looks mean as hell. I just hope he has the hp to back up the looks.
I love the front end, but just don't care too much for the back. My favorite exhaust tips on a t/a are the corsa dual/duals, and the wing must go. You need the mecham wing :yup:
The look you've got going on in front looks slightly modified but a lot more muscular, know what I mean? So I think you should do the same with the back with the things I told you. other than that looks great!
check out the Corsa with premium tips on my Profile page.. that was like 850 bucks just the parts.. but sounds mean when it needs to and mellow at low RPM, the looks are second to none.
It's a nice car, but I'm not crazy about all these appearance mods you've done. No disrespect, but it does kind of look ricey. What did you expect? That huge hood and spoler have got to go. The altered headlights wouldn't be so bad on their own, but it's the inclusion of all these mods together that makes your ride come across as too drastic a departure. If I were to pick any 1 single mod that definitely has to go, it would be that spoiler. It makes your car look really gay.Quote:

Its cool. Im not offended. To each his own right? The way I see it. As long as I like it then its all good. I just wanted something that didnt look like every other TA out there. I get plenty of people knocking on my door, pulling up next to me at stop lights, gas stations,car shows, etc, wondering where I got all those mods from(mostly fellow TA owners). Many people tell me its the coolest TA/car they've ever seen(I.E. car domain). But to be honest, If I did it all over again I would have worked on the speed department first. Eventually she'll be my turbocharged drag car hopefully. I gots no more moneys to put into her right now. Damn student! See you guys around!

The front 165R15 radials on there in that pic are a little shorter than your typical size, so it rakes a little.

"Mike's TA".. tint out the windows and back one too, get the Eibach Pro kit 1.25 drop.. also get the cold air kit from SLP, that way you don't spend 800 on a hood with 2 holes in it:), use that money to get a Corsa or Borla etc catback. just a few pointers.. welcome to the club ;)
