yes sir. You shall see before next summer the left side of the engine bay will be all cleaned up and bare pretty much and I need a way to get rid of the vaccum hose on the right side of the lid because I am getting the FTP 85 mm lid and 85 mm maf. Don't worry pretty soon you wont be looking at bare black and crap lol
the big hose on the right side is for your air system if you get a tune you can have it turned off and take it out. thats what i did on my car. if you dont have a tune yet talk to frost you will not regreat getting one thats for sure
Thanks man I'll have to wait till after the motor is taken out and such and maybe the guy tuning my motor can do that! What is that air system doing?
there is a pump in the inner fender on the driver side that pulles air out of the header and and it ends up going back into the lid its more or less like a egr set up.
 The secondary air system injects fresh filtered air into the exhaust manifolds (or headers). The system operates for a short time on cold start up and is designed to help bring the catalytic converters up to operating temperature sooner. The system consists of an electric air pump, a hose to a diverter valve on top of the engine, an electric solenoid that controls the vacuum signal to the diverter valve, and check valves mounted on the metal manifold tubes. This can all be removed from the car if emissions compliance is not an issue. A tune is then also required to cancel out the SES light from being triggered by the removal. :)
So do you think if I cancel the SES light I can still pass emissions if I take this off?

I added the Camaro vinyl to the right side of the strut tower! It may not be world ending but I like it and it's the start of all the mods to come
the light will come back and im not sure about emissions as i dont have to deal with them. do they have a visual? if so it should fail. and if you like the sticker thats all that matters.
I'm just completing my LS6 install. The engine is running smooth. I haven't re-installed the AC components yet. I have to install the console and the air dam. Take the car off the ramps and I'm ready for a test drive.
