I'd say it's to keep companies from price fixing.
Well we shall find out after tonites rest, ima wake up early just to find out.
I'm going to go fill up just in case.
Look at this folks, there's a hurricane getting ready to hit the Texas gulf coast where a lot of oil rigs and refineries are located, as we know. Gas always rises because they evacuate the employees that run these rigs and refineries and no oil is pumped or refined.
This hurricane will blow through in a day or two and the weekend pass will no longer be in effect for these guys. PLUS, the price of sweet crude oil is currently around $101-102 per barrel. That's the lowest it's been in 6-8 months!
Once Ike passes over the coast and goes inland away from the energy belt, all will be fine. Don't you guys watch the market? The dollar has strenghened while causing oil to come down.
Take it easy!
the most expensive place here just dropped his price again for the second time this week.......i hope thats the trend..:yup:
im ready to leave work, right now.. and filll up. im not even kidding.
Gas jumped from $3.67 last night to $3.99 here in Augusta. I don't know if it will reach $5 but it was a .32 jump over night. Luckily for me...I was able put some fuel in the Expedition this morning on Fort Gordon for $3.54. The Z is good, as it has been in the garage most of the week because of the rain.:)
Um here in central texas gas went up like 3 cents yesterday. Big whoop.
It isnt going to jump that high in such a short time. You guys are so gullable you believe anything you hear.
And on that note.......... You dont have the biggest dick your girls ever had. Now go cry.
gas prices are still the same around here...
They're gonna go up some but it's because the gasoline refineries are all here... in Houston... watching Ike roll up like a steroid juiced road rage.
The gas companies ALWAYS find some way to raise the prices. I'm sure it's because of the refineries near houston is their excuse. But in reality....if the refinery shuts down for a day or two....how adversely can that really effect the gas supply??? Not that much to warrant price hikes that I'm sure will be upwards to 25 cents a gallon for several weeks. But doesn't matter what the common people think....won't change anything. The fat cats just keep gettin richer. :bomb:
