they should have let William Daniels do the voice of KITT, there was no reason to have that new one. That would have been a nice touch.
isn't the guy who did the voice for KARR in the original now deceased?
:yup:
i kept telling my friend
"just wait kitt is going to say" I....am....BATMAN!!!
I agree, he was very bland. But so was William Daniels in the first episode from now that I think about it. But with his accent, definitely more entertaining. I guess they didn't want to inject too much personality into KITT until him and "Mike" were together for awhile.
William Daniels is 80 yrs old. I don't know if he could put as much enthusiasm into his voice as he used to.
I bet that the Michael Knight character still has KITT and carries him around as a touch screen phone that he keeps in his pocket.
... I kinda liked the show... i liked how the hoff was in it last...
During the funeral scene, I was expecting to see the Hoff drive off in the old Trans Am while Mike and the chick were talking by the limo.
I thought the same as well
that would have been sweet
So after taking off work today due to ice I thought Id rewatch this and look what I found... i took a snapshot of it...sorry for the blurryness....
If only this could have been dropped in KITT

So what's the deal - was this just a one time movie or is it airing every week now?
its a series now
the acting was horrible... but the rest was ok, If this had a transam I would have watched it no doubt
This show was a shit load of ass, but Kitt or rather most of the parts of Kitt show up in that quick part. First they show the 350 tpi motor as seen in the pic. Then you see the "Knight" license plate hanging from a peg hook on the wall. The bad guy in the same pic is moving the flash light around and you quickly see the front end of kitt with scanner. Moving a bit further through the garage you see Kitt covered by a tarp of course (Can't have a trans am in a ford commercial....ahem sponsored presentation) with the hood taken off and set on the t-tops. Then said bad guy flashes the light inside the tarp and you quickly see the old steering wheel. That’s it. I thought the funniest line in the movie was when The Hoff's ex wife in the show asked the dude who created the first Kitt.....
"So, did you make another Trans Am??"
To which his reply was....
"No, it's a mustang."
The storms off looking rather pissed off. I laughed at that. Cause in context it seemed that she was pissed he used a Mustang instead of a TA.
Over all the show was awful.
