Find a style you like, then get them powdercoated .
yep...its the reason i went with an 8" up front. the car doesnt want to pull when theres an imperfection in the road. with the 9" up from the car tracks real bad and i didnt want that. it drives soo much better now. im not doin any road racing with these wheels so its perfect for cruisin.

It basically comes down to the lip. Should I get it polished or go solid black. I can't decide what I like best.

I think a solid color looks best with those wheels. If the wheel had a nice deep lip then I would say chose the polished lip one.
IMO the solid black wheel looks nicer because it looks complete. Visually to me the wheel with the polished lip dissrupts the flow of the wheel lines and it looks.... incomplete IMO.
here's mine...17x9.5 C5 Z06...These are my roommate's rims off his '98 SS...I'll be buying 18x10.5 ones in the spring.
