Hey this is my 2002 Trans am down at the local stadium on our drag race night. Going on stock everything. I also included a pic of my friend doing a burnout in his honda insight. Yes a honda insight hybrid laying down rubber with all 60 some hp he has. For those curious it is a stick shift and he can lay down some serious rubber in that thing. even tho its not a trans am, i thought some of u might get a kick out of that. well with a little puddle of water, wait for the engine to get up to almost redline(which takes a few extra seconds lol) pull the ebrake and dump the clutch. it works, i was there and then on the streets he did an even better one..let a one tire fire mark for a good ten plus feet..street was filled with smoke.
:ughlaugh:
Not a T/A but I can appreciate a goodburnout.....

My last burnout was sitting still in 3rd and 4th gear for 45 seconds.
Slowed traffic down on a nearby highway. :lmao:
But I am saving that video....both angles. :D
When do we get to see that one? :hyper: :hyper:
Might be a couple months.
It will be in my next video...if I can ever decide on how I want to set it up. :lmao:
Only have done a burnout twice in the CE. Once was when I first got it and that was on video but the video was taped over by a friend (grrrr)
The second time was at a Musclecar presentation at a New Orleans Library. After the kids learned about musclecars we went outside and did some burnouts for them.

pitiful...I know! But if you look directly over the hood of the silver avalanche you will see a guy in red shirt looking at us with dismay. He didn't like cars making so much noise by his house and he yelled that he was callin the cops. (they never showed)
just a little fun on the old tires:
