Looks like the ZO6 takes the win in this drag race. :)
I think the Vette put down a faster time but judging by when the times popped up, the viper was the first to the finish line unless I'm just out of my mind...the ZO6 time posted after the vipers which usually means he crossed the finish line behind the other car. Right?
It looks like the ZO6 left later than the Viper so that explains how it had a faster time but wasnt the first to the finish line lol
Now that you say it, yes, it does look like the Viper crossed the line first.....but, even so, it's clear the ZO6 had the better ET.
Since that appears to be the case, how is that even possible in a heads up race?
Edit: Now that I've watched it closer a few more times, it almost looks like the Viper red lights, without the red light coming on. Would you agree?
Where's the damn time slip!!?? :ripped:
Actually the viper did NOT red light. He just had a better reaction time. There were no red lights on the tree when they both launched. Viper times were 2.20 60ft, 12.17et, and 122.97mph. The vette was 2.24 60ft, 11.75et, and 124.35mph. The vette was faster overall though. Quicker et and faster mph. I guess these are 2 different cars then in the org video, cause the top end on the viper was faster in the roll race videos. The vette in this video, according to the mph on the track, was higher, meaning the top end would have been faster in a roll race. Maybe on the street the vette had traction issues, or the vette driver learned how to shift gears better. Just my $0.02.
