My Dad. He was the first person on his side of the family to go to college. He served in WW2 and Korea. He made good money and worked his way up whrever he was. He understood priorities so when he passed away my Mom was taken care of financially for the rest of her life and he managed to provide college educations for my brother and myself. He also liked to have a good time and was well liked by everyone I have ever met.

He taught me many things that I have found to be important in life and I really wish he had not passed away at the age of 58 in 1983.

More esoteric role models would be Don Prudhomme, Lou Brock, and John Glenn.
