dont mean to fuel the off topicness, i snatched a power assemby out of an '89? honda prelude for my 99 firebird. put it in, twisted some wires together worked great.

not a huge fan of the SOM color, but it is indeed a rarity in ws6 trim and i do love that, you can make a killing selling parts for the wrecked one, i wish i lived near you, i'd like to just help take everything apart for the experience,

i towed the wreck home,put it on craigslist for 3500 sold it within a day for 3250.i was happy i didnt have to strip it and go thru all that crap.i dont think i would have did a lot better strippin it anyways.yes cammed goat you do spy that.my other 2 ws6,s are automatics this one is a 6 speed with tons and tons of work in it.all i can say is no more automatics for me the 6spd is just to much fun.

damn som is a great color for a ws6 t/a!! beautiful cars.

3250 for a wrecked TA.....ive been trying to get 1000 for my wrecked 3.8 and cant do it, lol

Theres something wrong with him to not like SOM.

To this day i kick myself for not waiting on a SOM colored car but every one i could find was overpriced and had alot higher milleage then my car when i bought it.

not a lot of desirable parts on a six....other than body panels and interior trim.....most people i know that buy wrecked f bodys are after the drivetrain and suspension.

Don't know if this counts, but I was taking my son to work during the snow days, early morning and spun out going down a hill and slid into an iced over divider-back bottom panel looks like it's about 1/16 of an inch pulled out on one side and a 1/32 on the other. First boo boo ever! Haven't got an estimate yet. I have a $500 deductible and don't have it right now- hoping it's not major bucks to fix-:shots:

its not my favorite, and it obviously wasnt alot of peoples because they are so hard to find (same thing with the metallic purple color used until 98) but the rarity of the color makes it cool and different and i love that, i would give anything for a 'vertible m6 SOM ws6, because you will NEVER see another one...
