I have a wife and a six month old, I wish we could eat for under $1000/mo. I can kill $250 a week in the grocery store with out batting an eye. :true:
Formula is $25 a can, and that lasts MAYBE 4 days.

You guys need to learn how to budget your money better. Start breast feeding and quit eating out. I get like 280 a month through the military for food and i bet i spend 150 a month if I am lucky. Maybe that's why i am a stick, hell idk, all i know is i'd never spend 1000 a month for food. My base pay use to be around 1100 dollars. I understand you guys have kids and stuff but there's no way my parents even spent 1000 a month on food. There was seven of us total. I know how much money my dad made per month, and there is absolutley no way our food bill was 1000 a month. My mom would go shopping once a week and I had never seen the bill go over 100 dollars.
Top Ramen and Kraft Mac & Cheese baby!
Retired Army here; Believe me I can budget, that is one thing the military teaches you.
Also when you where a kid , corn didn't cost .89 cents an ear, nor milk almost $4.50 a gal. Food has inflated so much in the last 5 yrs let alone in the last 20 yrs. I can remember candy bars when I was 12 (1983) @ .25 cents now they are almost a dollar. Many more examples can be stated here but really what's the point.
Definition of budget (verb)
forms: budgeted; budgeted; budgeting
to prepare a financial plan; to make financial arrangements
Has NOTHING to do with the amount spent on food consumed....
If Joe Legal BUDGETED $1000/mo. for food, it would have jackshit to do with wether or not $1000 worth of food were consumed.
Budget has nothing to do with it. You gonna tell your daughter she cant eat when she is hungry, because it will tip the budget????
Again, No experience in supporting a family..... :slap:
Saw a lady at the bus stop Monday while walking the dog, her kids wanted to pet him.
No one spoke English, I can guess her legal status, 6 kids and 1 in the oven. The oldest looked 8 or 9 years old. 3 kids looked old enough to be in school, In Cali it is over $10,000.00 per year for education, wait till they are all in school, $70,000.00 just to educate those kids.
I was in LA at the time and the drop out rate is over 50% what a waste of money.

Like the ones that surround me, there is a house across the street with I swear 7 guys living in it, mind you this house is about the size of a mobile home.when we first moved in the area my son was 2 and I kept hearing their damn music at 2 in the morning in the back of the house. One night full of anger and sleep deprivation I got up marched across the street(after getting pants and shoes on of course) and told them "either turn this music down after 7 pm and off by 10 or you had it" "no habla english" was all they said so really furious I replied "turn off the effin music or I call INS" I never seen them move so fast in my life.

Hey Cammed how much spanish does you Mom know? does she know more than just cuss words? if so lern them damnit and come tell me what these dang illegals are saying everytime I show up in the park!!! I know a few of the words but not enough.
Maybe I should have married a Latina
Well the few times I made tire deliveries, and the times I went to Davis's sports, they are spreading. the bar still, another bar at the light to 59 and 17 several places on 17. not to mention the ones across the street from where I live get picked up by several different trucks. but they are the same trucks and such every day,so they are really screwing us over, I mean hell I love landscaping but all the dang Illegals have that crap wrapped up tight. But I still have the purdiest lawn in the neighborhood.
This thread brings back memories of when my uncle came here from the Dominican Republic. He came here to have a better life. He went through all the legal proceedings to get his papers. He now owns his own home remodeling business with my aunt. He is disgusted with all the illegals who refuse to learn the English language. He tells folks in Spanish if they refuse to learn English as a second language, :gtfo: .
When I worked for Sears, there waas a Peruvian guy who has been in this country, now, for almost 20 years. HE STILL CANNOT SPEAK ENGLISH. When I worked with him, he would try to hide my tools from me because I got more recognition than him. He used to scratch rims and leave greasy hand prints on cars and hide when a customer complained. He would also act tough and try to force other Hispanic employees to fork over their tips.
Is this all :bs: ? I think not.
