First, there's three sides to this whole ordeal. His, hers, and the truth.
Second, there's no audio, so there's no telling what was said in the holding facility. And in the interview with Julie Chen (who is smoking hot), she admitted she'd been arguing with him all night. Did she threaten him/his life? She admits she was upset with him and talking back to him (for arresting her).
Third, by the letter of the law - she assaulted a police officer.
So, she's been picked up for being in or driving a vehicle reported stolen, she's been talking shit to him all night, then the final ending was the kicking of the shoe at the cop.
He's *only* suspended because of a) innocent until proven guilty and b) protection by his union.
And her wanting justice? It's nothing but wanting a big fat payout from the city. This whole thing smacks of a set up. Report the car stolen, give the cop that arrests you as much attitude as you possibly can until he/she snaps, play the race card, then wait for the moneyhats to be delivered. If the cop doesn't snap, then the mother conveniently says "I didnt know my daughter had it, so sorry officer, but thank you. I dont wish to press charges".
