i ordered the kicker cvt subs in the 2ohm but i just realized that the trans ams use the dual voice coil 4 ohm so there are 4 wires for each sub. since these subs are 2 ohm and single voice coil does that mean i connect all 4 wires to the 2 terminals? will using the 2ohm speaker fry my amp?
Just axe two of the wires. It should be pretty easy to tell which are + and which are -.Quote:

Well, I'm still waiting on one of my speakers. I was able to cancel one of the originals and order it from the other site that was cheaper. So, I did save a few bucks by doing so. But, I have still not received it...
Not sure when I will get around to actually trying to install these suckers either. But, when I do... I'll let you all know.
As far as the 2 vs 4... I have no clue. I needed the 2 ohms so that is what I got. Maybe you could do a google search to be sure if you are worried about the amp :dunno:
Amp'll be fine. Just wire up one set, look to the speaker harness and the way they fit together to help you decide on one +/- set.
i donno i guess i might give it a try but im not sure yet....
The other Kicker finally showed up today with UPS. Took quite a while. So, not so sure about the 'better' deal even though I saved a few bucks...
