Munched a Charlie's Sub in Detroit. Almost time to catch our final leg home. Not looking forward to work tomorrow.
Dan/Zach -- any plans for tomorrow night?
I hate when people fall in front of me. I feel helpless. We've had two customers fall in front of us, luckily the second didn't get hurt at all. Not the case for the first lady. The front door to her house was at the base of the stairs leading to the second floor, and the stairs from the first floor to the basement mirrored the 2nd floor stairs. The carpenter had removed all the stair treads to the 2nd floor so he could get long drywall into the building. For whatever reason the homeowner was dragging a large box into the house from the porch, backwards, and stepped off. We were in the basement when she came crashing down. Broke her left wrist and right ankle and smashed her face on the concrete floor. Luckily she stayed conscious. I called 911 and the waiting game started, but finally they showed and took care of things. What a friggin' day that was.
Good day at work. Started off slow but picked up.
I have such a headache. TOld her to give me a shot of sambuca and it was a freaking tripple.....coud slap her in the cooter.
This is how we do it, ta ta taa taa ta taaaaa ta
I'm ready for a drink. At least I can buy alcohol in the grocery store here, unlike Oklahoma.
Its tuesday night and I feeel alright...the party is here on the east side.
No plans yet, Jeff. Just more tinkering on the car.
Only liquor sales til 9 pm and not on sundays. That's why I'm enjoying Las Cruces, I don't even drink that much, just cool to see.Quote:

You poor inferior allergy sufferers
So the wife is pissed, I'm not too happy with spending $1k to fix the damn 10 bolt either.... fuuuuuuck me
Divorce, mod car, take her back.
:haha: :lmao:
Hmmmm.......passed by a restaurant I used to work at a long time ago. Been closed down for a while now. I may have to check into that......I'd love to open that place back up......
Dudes....I have a golf tournament the 18th, 19th & 20th.
Good to be home. Work wasn't too bad today and I was able to clear out my morning tomorrow to try and get through the rest of the piles.
Jeff, what would be a good night to get together and discuss lodging? Won't lie, Dan and I did not take care of that while you were gone.
Tomorrow works for me -- I can take a ride up to see the car if that fits your schedule.
I will let you know, Jeff. No idea what time I'll be home. Hopefully I've got some more parts to throw at the car, but we will see.
When is this shindig? Is it this weekend or next?
This weekend I believe.
I stand corrected... next weekend: Cavalcade of Stars at Summit Motorsports Park - Norwalk Ohio
Im out. I have a golf tournament I am bound to till I die, move away, or cant play golf anymore. lol
Mornin.
Greetings. Managed to get the lawn mowed last night. Had to finish in a steady rain and with the wind gusting I was absolutely covered in grass clippings. :(
Mowed mine yesterday as well. No rain though. Taking the family to the science museum this afternoon, after wrapping a few odds and ends up at the office.
What museum? Dawn and I like that stuff... Sammie would rather have her fingernails pulled out. We went to the Arizona State Museum in Tucson on Monday -- that was really cool to see.
It's the Great Lakes Science Center. Pretty cool place. They've got the IMAX theater there. Alysia arranged some sort of private tour, so it should be pretty interesting.
I haven't been to Arizona in about 20 years. Loved it out there. We've been talking about where to take our next vacation......I think this may be up there on the list.......take them to see the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, ect.. I think the kids would love that.
So, I had a dream where some guy came up to me and said he's selling an ls10(???) motor for $400 dollars. He opens up the back of his van to reveal a dirty, small motor with a cheap looking 80's-scifi manifold...
:hmm:
Anyway, I'm off to take my last final, constitutional law.
ever wish you'd get in to an accident on the way to work just to have a few days away???
Spaz, can your better half hook me up with Italian recipes? I've been missing lately some good home Italian dishes.
Better half? Having met them both, I would say Bella is at least 98% better than Spaz. :yup:
She is the billionaire to your welfare.
Sent using my telèfono
Lewiston to pullman to seattle to denver to des moines. Anyone wanna trade lives for today?
Ugh. I flew Tuesday from Phoenix to Detroit to Elmira. That was enough for me.
That 2 minutes wear you out that bad?
:lmao:
Wow, been a while.
I must have pissed off Sarge or something. I was a huge dick to him. Was doing some research on the WS6 and I remembered this site existed. Oh, how I used to love this place.
Sarge has not been on for quite a while. Having issues with your WS6?
I was here since 07. Posted under burnws6. Hi-po, spaz, atccharming, bmyers, scooley. Those are the ones I remember.
Hi-Po and Spaz are still around, Scooley has left us, been a while since I recall seeing the others.
Awe. I miss Scooley. King of online chat.
Knock on wood -- after 75,000 miles our window motors are still working fine.
Nobody uses that here either, anymore.
We just chat in threads I guess. :dunno:
Burns. Oh how you went down in style..ish. I started posting about the time you were getting kicked out..
The Burns?
I think?
If only we could get Iroc back. :sigh:
Been doin'. How 'bout you?
Zap - you get your truck unloaded ok?
I need work to be over tomorrow...
It fit through the garage door with inches to spare. I'll get it tomorrow night.
I'm drunk and bored. Whats going on people?
BURNS! Long time to type. Sarge is gone, the site now has a chance to rebuild.
Glad to see you back.
How's it going buddy!? Last I remember, you had gotten a new job? I think?
Man, today was rough. 3 hour layover in Seattle and a 2.1 hour layover in Denver, plus the flying of course. Sister in law suckered me in to taking my Interm trip and surprise my mother; who is driving out here.
I'm at the point in my traveling career that I intentionally spend money at the airport to try and make it fun. Two of my flights I bought the entire row (6 seats) a round of booze. It turns an everyday flight into a stupid "single serving" party. I spend 50 bucks on a bunch of strangers I'll never meet again, but damnit if we didn't have the best time we could flying.
I'm out having fun in a town I visit twice a year. Except this time my brothers are old enough to drink with me. Its been quite entertaining. Went to sone fancy restaurant that is famous for their own brews. At $2 a pop, I had one to many. Its nice to get to know my little brothers. Lol
It's pretty quiet 'round these parts anymore from what I gather.
With a name like toofpaste, you've obviously proven yourself to be a up standing Internet citizen. I approve.
Mornin.
Morning Walt.
Morning all :)
Today and tomorrow should be awesome...Sushi for dinner, The Avengers afterwards, and then spending all day Saturday getting the GTP ready for the Ocean City Cruise Weekend.
Here's my list for Saturday:
- Refill power steering system (installed a new rack and pinion, so it's bone dry)
- Tighten up suspension (just replaced all the bushings in the front, along with solid sway bars)
- Re-grease rear suspension (long overdue)
- Bleed brakes
- Finish intercooler system
- Replace fuel filter (stocker is probably toast after 125k miles)
- Take it in for an alignment (may have to wait till Monday for this one if I don't finish before shops close on Saturday.
Sushi Friday in full effect.
Who's got 2 thumbs and a LQ4 short block for $320?????
<<<<This Guy
:nana::nana::nana:
Bad posi, bad gears, bad pinion, bad bearings, and now a bad axle too... fuck you 10 bolt, long and hard.
:spit:
makes you want to :wtcslap::kick:to the cheap ass bean counter in GM that thought it was a good idea to put it on these cars.
Yup pretty much!
Hey that's a nice little s10 you got there, I have double the horsepower but somehow we ended up with the same rear? :thinkin:
Probably the same morons that decided to end Pontiac......
need 5:00...
