Cant really tell you cause when i was in the process of doing mine when i took the door panel off the stock tweeters werent supported by anything but glue, so i dont know if there was any screws or not but i couldnt find anything broken off of it.

My biggest problem was i guess the door panel on the drivers side had flexed (or stretched ) a bit cause when i tried to put my new tweets in, the wingnut that keeps the tweeter in place wouldnt sit flush on the outer edge of the door panel so i had to get creative to keep the tweet from falling right through.

Black on black is what I want. Manual of course but I want to sell my SS (not trade it in). Blue book says it's worth $14,700 but then it says if it has low mileage it can be a significantly higher value then the average retail price that it gave me. Yeah, I want to do it....
