Actually they are small to medium sized. Biggest is maybe 24" in that previous pic.

More pics:

The first is a maple with my kids about three years ago. It's over 36". the second shows some fall color on some of my bonsai. The third is a bald cypress I'm training (pic is several years old). It's over four feet tall and weighs about three hundred pounds. Bonsai soil is mostly aggregate rock so it's very heavy in comparison to potting soil and the like.
