If your electrode or center is melted then that almost always points to intial preignition.
Im pretty sure its a timing issue...I going to have my tuner pull 2 degrees and go from there...each time Ive retuned and dyno tested the A/F ratio its been above 70...each time I have ate a plug its been below 50...sounds like timing...the #8 cylinder is always the one to go since it runs the hottest
