The thing you have to worry about with a gas blower as opposed to an electric blower is that on shitty models there's the chance that the blower will actually blow small oil particles....so, you just need to make sure the blower doesn't do it lol.

Pretty much just decided to recover the stock seats. Cant find an aftermarket seat that I like enough that wont cost me an arm and a leg by time i buy them and have them customized to my taste. If i was going to turn this into a track car i would be more willing to but for a show/cruiser it just doesn't seem worth it when i can put the money into other stuff.
Most of the places i've talked to only charge a 200 - 400 more for real leather covers vs synthetics. Problem with vinyl or leatherette seat covers is that they just tend to be very shiny if cheaper but once you get into the nicer versions of them the shops are telling me for a couple to few hundred more i can just get real leather as long as i don't go crazy with the custom features.
Big thing I've got to decide is what color I want to do the inserts. Started off thinking suede or alcantara but suede doesn't hold up all that well and alcantara gets expensive fast. Plus it requires a lot of maintenance and probably wont last as long as the leather. Problem i'm having is choosing a insert color that will go with both the cars current pewter color and the a variation of viper gun metal grey that i plan on repainting the car down the road in a few years.
Ready to start some work!

Nice looking set up, read some stickies on header install cause there are a bunch of little tips that help. You Will be laying on the floor looking at it and saying WTF why can't I get them in....hahahaha trust me they will fit.....
Got me some pretty cool coil covers today not the normal plastic ones and I have some plans to customize them further so that's all I have to say at this time....
went out cranked them up my 98 ws6 trans-am and hubbys 2000 t/a and had to replace turn bulb on his front (orange one) ps they have changed numbers again from 1157.to 3357. just got his t/a back woundn't crank ,they said starter but it only has 43,125 miles on it, set to much? have nice day everyone!.
I've been reading ALL the threads on headers, EGR/AIR removal, motor mounts, and plugs/wires!
This coming weekend, the car will be up on 24" 5t jack stands and the work will begin!
Last year did the clutch, Tick MC, and UMI TA! I know what the underside looks like! ;-)
Too bad you aren't a little closer -- we'd toss her up in the air and make short work of this swap!
It'd be 2 trips! One to bring all the parts, two to get the car there! Wish I was closer too!
I'd love to meet up this summer!🤗
Something else to consider udy2554, since you're gonna be right there anyway, I highly recommend changing out the motor and Trans mounts to some polyurethane ones. It will translate a little more engine vibration to the car, but you won't have as big of a fear of pulling one in half once the hp numbers grow larger with the increase in mods.
It's in the plan man!😊
New UMI cross member and TA too! I'm staying with rubber for the tranny, and poly for MMs! My final goal will be @400rwhp! I'd like to stay in the 10 bolt's range! It's girdled with chromoly axles! (Someday 3.73s or 4.10s)
Well I have my motor and here are the pics.Attachment 26534Attachment 26536Attachment 26537Attachment 26538Attachment 26539Attachment 26540
Here's the rest of the parts!

Motor mounts and cutout will be here Thursday!
I always love having a big pile of parts....taking a little break this year cause I really need to finish my driveway. I have a few little boxes and a few other ideas that shouldn't cost very much to tide me over.....
John - the Chilson-Wilcox show on the Friday of Labor Day weekend is about the best in the area and a good place to meet up for both of us.
So, my wife says only douche-bags have vanity plates! (8-P

My wife's character judgement must be slipping...😞😳
I can live with it!
Flame away friends! ;-)
Got the exhaust finally finished..
