here is my new bird. I have a 99 TA already but couldnt pass this one up.
98 NBM A4 Formula Hardtop with tan cloth interior. Its a diamond in the rough! Drivetrain is solid as a rock. Rides better than my TA. Just needs the cosmetic work done and itll be one gorgeous rare car, that im keeping or giving to my dad. its like 1 of 20something(just an estimate).
here is my TA, you guys have seen this before.

and the formula, they are crappy pics but im gonna take it to work and buff the whole car out and get all the good paint back to awesome shape. then ill post new pics. i have a blue mirror on the way too for the driver side haha. NBM is a damn hard color to find! but for now..

not 1 of 20 exactly but the previous owner and me did some redneck math if you wanna put it that way haha. they only made 141 tan cloth cars that year. so just by kinda guessing and eliminating m6's and other colors, that doesnt leave room for many more. Dont take my word on it, im not claiming it is. but to us it made sense because most were optioned cars. theyre were probably more made but i bet not that many left on the road. But whatever. If someone had some real numbers that be awesome.

I always liked your car you did an awesome job on it, converting it and all, this is the 1st LT1 model Trans Am that I have seen converted to a LS1 styling, by the way what rims are those? They look sweet!

Man, you're right about how hard it is to pick the right shade of orange. They're so many different things you can choose from, from the color basecoat, metallic, pearls, and in my case, the right Kandy to cover the basecoat. It's hard to tell what a car will look like just by looking at a paint chip. Once I saw that it was actually a copper Kandy, I haven't heard or seen any other Trans Am's that color, especially with the maple pearl mixed in. If I wouldn't have found my color, I'd definitely lean toward your color. Blue is still my favorite color and you've also got a beautiful car and you made an excellent choice for your color. I appreciate all the compliments, especially from people like you who can know and appreciate what kind of work goes into paint jobs like ours.

There is a thread that was started by "SS02" called (Nebraska US...how many) Well some of the Mid-West members had an event from this thread held in Fremont. I took Pics and would like to post but I am not sure the legality of doing so without the permission of these members. If I could post them can I do it here or should I post in that thread. I got nice pics and would like to share but don't want trouble or upset people. Can anyone here tell me if I can or not

(also w/ my best friend's boosted Prelude, she says it's got 500RWHP BUT it's a 18.5 second car, so I'm going to go with it's not)

me and my baby!
All that's been done on the car is: Flowmaster "duals," the most ghetto cut-out you've ever seen (although it is loud as hell), K&N air intake, 17" c5 rims (I think? They came on the car) on 285's, red calipers, the CETA mod and I got the black aluminum shift knob with the silver Phoenix on it. I'm aiming for a bigger cam, long tube headers, FAST intake manifold, eventually an LS6 head, a REAL cut-out... but first, new shocks & springs :naughty:
