The last air bag I pulled The book said to pull a fuse an Waite 1 minute so the air bag control Bord would discharged it stores a charge in case the batter is damage in a collision.I have fix many tilt columns because 4 bolts come lose that hold bottom part of tilt to column you half to pull it all the way down it a pain in the ass never seen steering wheel nut come lose
