sorry to here about the low numbers
i am looking to put a cam and bring those horsepower numbers up
itd suck tho to have a 320rwhp cammed car
i tunned it now it has 286 horsepower to the wheels
they changed the valve springs , pushrods and thats pretty much it.
I had a broken valve and i had a mechanic change all the valve springs and pushrods.
before all of this my car actually had around 310 to the wheels it was an animal thats why i decided to have the car tuned , because the car felt very slow.
Any idea what pushrods they put in?? Valvesprings?
Does it chatter a lot? The valvesprings that is.
Thats BS. The cats can in fact clog. My friends 2000 truck had one that was clogged. It was performing so bad going from a stop to 60 took at least 15 seconds, if not more. Oddly enough though, it wasn't throwing a code and we couldn't figure it out. We checked everything, fuel filter, air filter, MAF, even if it had bad gas. Nothing was wrong and I figured if it was a cat it would through a code. Well it didn't. Hell, the mechanic he took it to couldn't figure it out. The ended up charging him $800 to replace the fuel pump when it was acting up before he ever got out the parking lot with it...So it IS possible...
chromemolly pushrods and comp cam springs
The car is quiet as can be no drivetrain noise.
the were factory length , i had a problem at first they were a little to short.
