Check out John Longstreth from Origin for shear drumming brutality; Lars or the Rush drummer would be complaining of their arthritis flaring-up after a few minutes of blast beats.

Death metal drummers do tend to be better than most owing to polyrythmic playing skills. AFAIC, all drummers have something to offer, even simple rythyms as these types are what make for pop music's popularity as the drums (unless your a drummer of some sort) tend not to be a lead instrument.Quote:
