Bought my 2002 SS with 21K miles on it for $17.5K. Mods at the time were LT headers, full exhaust, K&N FIPK, Weiand intake and a tune.
I've probably dropped a good $4K in mods (+ labor) that have been installed and plan to drop plenty more into it.

Paid $17,000 last april. It was all stock, and had 57,000 miles on it. The SS now has about 69,500.
$12.5 for mine 2 years ago with 65K on the clock. A bit much. Then the motor let go to the tune of a broken rod about 6 months later. One crate engine LS6 later with a host of mods before the install...might as well right? Cam-Double roller-Pushrods-Springs-New MAF-SLP LT Headers into Complete LM exhaust system- Complete reprogramming of the ECU-496HP at the crank (corrected) on the dyno. There's probably more but I don't remember. Eibach Sportline springs with a 1.8" drop. 20"-11" wide Z06 wheels with 305's mounted on all 4 corners. I probably have about the same amount invested as I paid for it...I'm afraid to add it up...
6995 for a 1998 T/A stock with 98k a year and a half ago...
