Yes, it's there to keep people from voting for a member instead of a car. I'm not sure exactly how much it helps because most people probably know the cars anyhow. I will say we've had a few winners come out of left field on me. I didn't recongnize the car.

Put it in if it is one of the top cars. If the general public doesn't think it belongs...it will show in the final poll.

Just because you organize this, doesn't mean you can't participate.

Orion won't say, but I will on his behalf. COTM has been so successful, that the staff started doing their own monthly COTM, strictly for the staff members. So far, Orion has won 3 times, once with the Formy and twice with the GTO.
