ohh far from me.
Soon to be Ex-Military/Veteran! (Honorable Medical) Have to find a new job this month! But I didn't really like my job anyway!
I found one that installs fire sprinklers in buildings for 11 dollars an hour...6-2 monday through friday, overtime if I want to work on sat too. Yep my ass is gone with this place.
Oh, you hate your job? You should have said so earlier, we have a club for that. We call it "Everyone", and we meet at the bar after work.
I actually like my job. Im a machinist and im pretty much my own boss. I am told what needs to be done in the morning when i get there then i don't see my boss for the rest of the day
I love my job, but I hate doing it for the military. I can get paid so much better and NOT have to go to the field 4 months out of a year and deploy for 12-15 months every other year. All I do all day is dig through wiring diagrams and run up aircraft. It is really fun to figure that shit out
I hate the recent promotion I got. More responsibility Plus now my boss sees me as a threat to him. I had a great relationship with him before. His boss comes to me all the time.
I work on Phones for a three letter Phone Company, we provide service for a Government agency or three. Very large building, thousands of people and phones and hundreds of thousands of sq feet in the buildings.
I walk a lot. A WHOLE LOT!
I move phones, fix phones, install phones, remove phones, pull cable, remove cable, terminate cable, build voicemail and program VoiP as well.
I actually enjoy it. Pay is good. Hours are pretty good, and most of the people are cool.
So, yeah, I am happy. in Shape, and keep very busy.
i work for the city and drive around all day turning peoples water off because they cant pay $20 for their bill but they have a hummer in their driveway, i really hate the mornings though because i have to read water meters and its alot of walking but i guess its fun for now
you guys actually check those things? i thought it was all electronic, and they just said that so they can charge us the extra fee.
well some of the newer "upscale" cities are electronic, a big special vehicle drives down each street and the readings are sent electronically to it somehow, i dont know. All i know is i have to bend down about 400 times each morning and my knee now makes a nice crunching sound, Hooray for blue-collar jobs, lol
ya its not bad i guess, its just hard to get motivated early in the morning to start walkin long distances, and since im not a morning person im still pissed off until about 11am for no other reason than just being up
It says right in his name he's 28...i'm 22 and i hate walking too..cuz my knee bothers me as well. But I've been doing lots of exercises lately and there is hardly any discomfort now.
I'm the same way when it comes to getting up in the morning..thank God i'm back on 3rd shift!
