I don't think A4 is boring, it is easier and better when done right.

It might be faster shifting, but still not better. Less gears yet. The motor will always be revving higher on the highway.

higher rev is better as close to 3500 to be closer to open throttle. but how you define fun for M6 for me is being too busy and unecessary for the built up A4 with stall. if you call fun grabing on a stick and playing 1-2 with your feet ok. but not fun for me. I am always at high rpm so don't need to downshift or nothing.

I like being able to cruise 80-85 and not be over 2000 rpms too.
I guess that's a good point... you can quiet it down to 2000 for 80mi cruise...
