F-Sane.com my buddy Ilya also makes kits. I'm getting mine installed real soon. For all 4th gen fbodies.
As for the fogs to HID. I've seen people put new fogs in there all together. But most of the links i have are for birds, heres one i found for the maro.

why does everyone go for the 10k+ bulbs? when the 4300K bulb is, by-far, the brightest, most useful HID bulb ever made... (BMW, Mercedes, Cadillac, Lexus, all use this temperature.)
4300K is still kinda yellowish everyone tells me... I wanted to go for more blueish...my friends got the 8000K and it's aqua blue, so I figured I'd go for the deep blue since I'm payin so much already!Quote:

they make 880 HID bulbs... why would you need to convert? oh nm... for the TA we have them for sure...
and 4300K is the brightest bulb... it's DAYLIGHT color... when you get to 6000K you start looking like only bright white light... by 8000K it's blue and annoying... yup annoying as hell... the higher you go, the more purple/the more annoying they get...
oh yeah, and the light output diminishes sharply after you go past 5000K-6000K
for fogs, you want the lowest temperature possible, because the yellow light helps you see when there are adverse weather conditions... the white light is only good for road signs...
this is why most people get the 6000K for the headlights, and 4300K or lower for the fogs...
if you're really lucky, you can get the filter/projector from a luxury car, then you can have the best of both worlds... your lights will look 'cool' and you'll be able to use the 4300K... it sends the white/blue light up higher, and the yellow light towards the ground, where it matters... I still haven't seen any aftermarket lenses that are direct-fit for F-bodies...
that filter sounds pretty interesting, because thats defintely a route id like to take.
thise are hot
if you pick up any lexus/bmw/mercedes/cadillac/acura with HID, they have this projector/filter... sends the blues/whites upwards towards the signs, and yellows towards the ground...
if you drive in front of a bmw, you will notice that the lights are ONLY blinding if you are right in front of them... at any sort of angle, it just flickers a little, but is not very bright.. you will see purple/red/blue etc but not the bright white light.... it's a smart design and people with cheapo HID kits or fake HID bulbs don't have this so they blind everyone on the road...
haha yea but they can spot deer a mile to each side of them or two miles ahead haha
they only put the light in the proper place.. yes you will be able to see the deer, thanks to the yellow light output, because it's projected very far/precisely... you won't, however, have a blinding side output degree of light... you put on fogs for that... but you really won't need the fogs anymore...
Finally got those darn stock fog lights replaced. Used a pair of Hella Micro DEs, and replaced the included bulbs with a set of McCullogh 10,000k HID conversion bulbs. Sweeeet!
Can you tell which is the stock bulb?
