I took delivery of my 02 Hawk back in August 2001 just going over all my service history or there lack of? Is it bad that I only have changed the oil four times?

Oil breaks down over time...seals rot too. I've always been told and read that it is really bad for the engine to just sit and not be ran regularly. You might be doing more harm than good by never driving it.
I crank it and bring it up to 210 degrees regularly , roll it out garage and drive it to the mail box from time to time. What scares me the most is the cheap , crappy, way over priced ten percent ethonal gas that we are stuck with. I keep the tank full of gas at all times with Sta-Bil added.
Which brings me to my next question, Octane boosters, waste of money or are there any good ones out there?
Your car is not tuned to run on higher octane so it wouldn't add any benefit.Quote:

Octane boosters are generally more hype than anything else. If I recall, when they say they add a "point" they really mean a "tenth of a point" to your fuel's octane.
Correct. Same goes for racing fuel that's really high octane from what I understand. Unless the PCM is tuned for it, it doesn't help much, if at all.Quote:
