WHAT?!? Really? Assault? People are WAY too uptight these days! I could understand him getting a nothing disturbance ticket or something, but assault is a bit extreme IMHO.

It's the law, but im sure if there was an officer called he would try to de-fuse the situation rather then want a stack of paper work taking him to jail. What someone should do is investigate to see if the wheelchair bound woman is on disability and show the tape to the state, her jumping out of the chair that is.

I can walk short distances without a cane like around the house, but for anything out to 100 yards I need at least a cane, but if I had to go shopping or visit a mall I'd need my wheel chair. Just because she was able to get out of a chair does not necessary mean she can walk down the street.
