I'm running a 12 bolt with 33 spline axles and 4.30 gears. I love the 4.30s. The 1st through 4th is a bit tighter than 4.10s, and I am able to step up a gear with them over the 4.10s. Example: At 25-30 mph, I can be in a gear higher than I could with the 4.10s, allowing me to run a bit lower rpm. With the 4.10s and my cam, if I tried going to that gear, the rpms would be a bit low and the car would start to surge. BTW, I am also getting 22.8 mpg highway out of 497 rwhp with the 4.30s. About 2 grand at 70 mph on the freeway, and if I shift down to 3rd from there and punch it, the grin lasts for several hours. ;)
