Made the long drive home from buffalo to tenn today. I was surprised at how well the car handled. Got almost 30mpg. Not used to a six speed but its funny on the way you can shift. You could actually skip a gear and it still has pick up. I keep the rpm"s down but did reach 100mph a few times. The oil was changed when I picked up the car but would you do it again after the trip just because? Also couldnt believe the stereo. So much bass I turned it down to 1 and it was still almost to much for much. Gonna get the windows tinted this week. Wife did pretty good the first time driving it as she hasnt drove a manual in ahile. She had an s2000 and then my 350z when I had it.

2.5's make alright torque. The super long stroke also makes the vibrate like a mother and eventually burn oil

Yeah my father in law helped me rebuild the engine. He as a dragster that he build that is in the 6"s. Last time he went out he broke something and its time for another rebuild. I had a 385ci in that car. Nothing special but it was fun.
Just drove a rental nissan sentra over 4600 miles in the past two weeks... best part was returning it!
I'm sure the spec V with manual is better, but that CVT trans sucked ass. you had to plan ahead for any manuevers as the car had such a delay between hitting the throttle and any movement taking place.
It did manage to get a best of 36mpg though and a worst of 32 mpg (all highway).
Cvt is a death trap :yup: plus they had to extend the warranty to ease concerns about them fragging. They do stupid stuff constantly and we've had issues with our two rogues
