out with the OLD
I would have tried one of those b4. Now I got a powerbastards 220amp so I can do a stereo and not have issues with my pulleys but that would have been a good hold off.
the 130 is just to small......even in a souped up 200 watt killer......the 244 has a bigger retifier...bigger stator.....bigger coil.....and puts out 2x the amps at half the RPM....you can get souped up 244s.....but its not in my budget now.....but it will be updated ASAP......and for 40$......it cant be beat :)
That looks awesome. So the only mods that you have to do if bend the PS hose to make it fit? Does the stock belt work on it? What year and model can I get this alternator from? Thanks guys.
jus loosen the pressure side of the hose at the nut....turn it a little....then tweak it sooo slightly........no need to mangle it......the belt fit great.....use a 2003 truck with the 145 amp option and 4 pin plug as your guide.....a rebuilt for that alt was 190$ at vato zone......40$ from the junkyard was much nicer
well i havent been too lucky here with the junk yards. i only found an alternator from a 2000 s10 but there was no markings and it looked burnt. I guess I have to try ebay. When u talk about 4 pin, do you mean that I have to the 4 pins in the alternator plug? I know the 4 is for 4 pin but the car only uses one.
Will this one work? I sent a pm to the seller and he says is a 4 pin one.

yes it uses the same 4 pin......but only 1 used.....looks like a fit......what kinda warranty?
it says 1 year warranty but the guy said that if it doesn't fit I can't return it. So I have to make sure it fits.
guess if you order you will fit out.......take pics :snowboard:
i found a whole roll of quarters :bat:.........but you can also see how freakin small the rectifer is :cool2:
