Hipo, I've owned many, many vehicles in my time.. I have seen many suspension geometries... I fully understand how a suspension works.. ESPECIALLY multi link, and double wish bone, and McPhiereson(sp).. If you'd like to pick my posts apart that is alright.. I will still know better.. Book smarts are one thing hands on is another..
FalseQuote:
The reason your having steering trouble is because you removed the "stablizer bar"
FalseQuote:
As long as it's not present the car will handle poorly even unpredictable @ times..
FalseQuote:
I'd venture to say that leaving it off could cause the rear sway bar linkages to break.
FalseQuote:
This will most likely result in a crash.... I would reinstall it immediately
Anything else to add?
INMY01TA, Prove me wrong and I will gladly concede... I have no trouble with that...
Proof is that with no sway bar the car still handles better than most other cars on the road. Better than my Colorado. Much less body roll. Is that unsafe to drive? Use the rofl smiley all you want, you look foolish cause you've never even driven the car in such a manner.
Infact I just replaced the broken ones on my 01 Camaro with Moog linkages part #K5252...
Smittro, I'm trying to be civil here. Don't take this out of context, personal, or get super defensive as it seems you do so many times against me.
I don't know what more proof you want. It boils down to this:
It will not cause a crash. Thousands of people drive like this on the road. I put thousands of miles on my TA last year with no front sway bar. Never once came close to crashing.
It will not cause the rear sway bar mounting points to break. Refer to above. Thousands of miles, and countless people to say the same. It will not cause damage.
It will not cause the car to become unpredictable. Again, refer to the above. Its not that hard to understand, countless people do this. Its common. You never hear of any crashes because of a front sway bar missing, it just doesn't happen.
:hmm:
