Myself.
That way, no matter what I do, I am always perfect.
Malcom X, huh? Are you a black separatist by chance? Or a Muslim (by conversation, not by birth).
Do you believe (or even know about) Black Liberation theology? The meaning of Black, Red and Green?
I will grant you he was not afraid to voice his opinion about racial injustice.
But, as a white man, I give more creedence to what Jesse Jackson/Al Sharpton has to say than Malcom X. At least they are willing to work within the system. And they followed in the footsteps of Dr King.
As always, just my $.02 worth...
Terry Yeakey.
First off, my Dad- taught me the value of hard work and family and how I should never place more value on work over my family.
Secondly, a former student of mine- Lance Cpl Brandon Burns who was severly injured by sniper fire to the head during the battle for Fallujah (see article: http://findarticles.com/p/articles/m.../ai_n16118545/). My Golden Retriever Riley. He doesn't have a care in the world. Running in the pasture all day....eats like a king.....gets laid whenever he wants. He has no bills...doesn't care where or what his kids are up to. His only concern is who is going to scratch him behind his ears.
Lawdog, like Sarge's dog, he too got laid whenever he wanted. He drove the fastest police car EVER!, and was just about as close to being a superhero as one can get.
Epic beard man!
I honestly don't remember picking out specific individuals to look up to growing up. I made a composite of certain qualities from people I've met throughout my life and that is what I aspire/look up to.
That is awesome I would look up to him as well! That place was one of the worst battles in history.
There are so many people I look up to but my latest would be a brother and former teammate of mine who was killed a few days ago. RIP GYSgt. Robert Gilbert III. He also was an SS and ZO-6 driver... He loved fast cars just like me.
