yeah i appreciate all the info, I'm just trying to make sure I don't go overboard on fixing whats wrong now
yes....yes i know.....same with stereo stuff....youll always lose a knuckle
It needs to stop raining so i can get a new avatar pic, lol..
I got ripped from finger tips to about halfway up my arms lol..
I just want the snow to go away like FOREVER then dry up so I can get these stupid snow throwers out of my hair @ the shop and free up some more project space and free time...:villagers:
lol....it snowed here a few weeks ago...now its just rain....and rain....and rain.....this car needs serious external care, i need some nice days so i can remove the side molding thats only on one side, wash, polish, claybar, wax, polish up the rims, scrub down the tires, polish the haze off the headlights, detail under the hood.....
oh and also...i cant get my "change oil" light to go off, and randomly the "check gauges" light comes on...but i think thats because it doesnt like my shifting, lol
For oil change light reset: turn key to run position but don't start her up. Press and hold the trip reset botton on your odometer oil change light will go out.
Check guages light: will also come on when you're getting low on fuel durring medium/hard cornering, steep inclines, with only about 1/4 of a tank. Fuel is constantly being churned up by the fuel return, you may be able so sit there and watch the fuel guage "float" just sitting still @ idle. This is normal but can sometimes trigger an intermittant "check guages" light again if getting low on fuel..
yeah im down to about an 1/8th tank, i was on a hill last time it was on.
I looked around last night and found out about the oil reset light.
So now there's no more lights on my dash...woohoo, lol......for now
And as far as the previously mentioned codes...I think I'm just gonna sit back now, and see what happens. like i said, I have no idea how old those codes were, my dad just said the light comes on sometimes and he never did anything about it
Ok well today i was getting on interstate and missed a shift....went 2-3-2....i didnt come all the way out on the clutch, but it did chirp the rear tires.
Anyway, it happened while i was merging, so i put it back in third, moved over, then noticed my SES light on.
I dont know if it came on because on my missed shift, or if it just happened to be at the same time.
The other factor is that I'm low on gas. Its the P0442, EVAP leak code, you think it may have something to do with one of those two factors....remember i also had this code when i picked it up
