I used to run a projector. I had it set up for 75" from about a 13 ft throw. Picture quality was great considering I never ran any media higher than 720p at it. Verizon broadcasts in 720p, so I figure there's no point in wasting money on a 1080p unit. In 5 years, when they finally broadcast in 1080p, I'll pick one up. Running a Panasonic 50" plasma right now. I've watched games on lcd, and hate them. I'll take plasma every day of the week, and twice on sunday.
Running an Onkyo receiver to Athena Technologies speakers. Two floorstanders (
AF-S2) and center channel (
AF-C1). I have surround bookshelves, but no good place to put them, so they're collecting dust.
I built my subwoofer. Tempest 15" using Adire Audio design. This thing rocks the house. The box is huge and doesn't work with the current setup, so I'm redesigning a new box; something a little more stealth and integrated into the entertainment center.
