I feel they are in already. When I saw on the news of Kulwicki's and Allison's deaths my heart sank. They were taken WAY too soon.

Only the good die young.............Kulwicki was only in the Winston Cup for 6 years.

Another one you don't hear about anymore but will make it in, or at least should make it in, is Swervin' Ervin. The one eyed wonder lived through stuff that would've put a lesser man in the grave.

another one. I don't even think he had 1 nascar win in winston cup but had a shit ton others in other series was Dick Trickle. The only reasons I think he should make it is due to his name and the fact that he'd fire a cigarette up during caution flags and hang it out the window. He was the last of the iron men in my book. I don't even think Dale was as hard core as Tricky Dicky was. :D

This thread is startin to take me back to when CBS used to air the races on TV, then TNN(SPIKE) would run the races as well. Man those were the days. Superspeedways had cars runnin past 200mph, drafting didn't knock anyone in the walls...much, and there were NO issues with tire designs. Not much technology involved. Just build it, lap it, place, then race...and WIN.
