Sorry guys trying to post pix together forget how so here is the link instead. I have both a viper and a WS6 and I will be honest I have not really driven the T/A since I got the Viper. i take it out once a week for like a 5 mile drive to keep it lubricated and start it in the garage for 10 minutes every 3 days but just love driving the Viper and love the attention it gets. checkem out if someone can post the pix here would probably be more helpful.

From a performance standpoint, I don't think that those early Vipers were a whole lot faster than your TA. High 12's to low 13's from what I have read. I've never driven one.
I would go for the Viper. But I am over 25 and that helps the insurance part a LOT. When I was considering a Viper, the insurance not much more than an F-Body at all.
Maintenance is a different matter, though. I would say a T/A is a little easier on that score but I don't know for sure.
nice cars man
Thanks Zboner for popsting the pic. No Cujo look at the differences and decide if the extra $$ is worth it. I love them both but my Viper gets the nod and I am trying to actually sell the T/a now. The Viper is a little more expensive. I mean I needed a new A/c compressor right after I got it and it was like $1200.00 and tires are like $600 each but man it is sweet
A 94 viper is a RWD car that shares the same transmission as an f-body and is faster by a hair, if that. Why would he kill himself in a viper if he hasn't already killed himself in an fbody? :dunno:Quote:

I had a 2001 GTS. In the hands of someone that is not familiar with the Vipers fat torque band, you can get in over your head pretty quickly. Its not the HP, its the torque. It comes on early and stays late. Something like 1/3 of Viper owners have some kind of mishap in the first 3 mos. And dont eeven think about driving it in the rain. Also theres what we Viper owners referred to as the "Viper Tax". Parts are OUTRAGEOUS! Cujo, unless youre making some serious bank, Id wait and get a newer Viper with the ABS and bigger brakes, etc.Quote:

I'd rather have the TA...but that's just me.
