Yea i like em too, but it'd be about 300 with shipping...idk if i wanna spend that much on a non performance mod.
Bear with me Allbaugh. I have an idea that will cost under $50.00. What I initially tried I am changing, and this should come out pretty sweet.
I hope you're taking pictures as you go. Now you've got me a bit curious...
i had also pulled mine out as well and want to keep it out, but there was paint missing in the bottom corners where the cheap plastic onw would rub I guess? So I went for the billet for the time being. But I dont know about cutting the foam thats the bumper absorber for accidents...
Great ideas guys! I'm interested in a, dare i say it, deeper looking grill area, possibly with two round lights like the mustang cobras have. The grill inserts are nice but they are too close to the edge. Kind of like a deep dish wheel look nicer imo, i'd like a deep dish front grill. Would probably involve some cutting. Anyone seen a kit or any pics?
Alright a-holes. The insert is currently drying. I should have it close to, or finished tonight.
Well. When I first went to Autozone to buy filler I was under the impression that it is fiberglass. They told me what I needed to buy and it just so happened I didn't have that much money on me. On the way back home I stopped at a body shop, and they told me the Autozone people were a pack of retards, and that I shouldn't take their word for it. He said it's just standard rubber bumper, and that fiberglass filler wouldn't stick. He said I'd need bumper repair caulk. He suggested I go to a car painting specialty store. So I went to this place called Sanders' Supply. He told me that I needed the rubber bumper repair caulk also, and that he was 100% positive that it wouldn't work. Actually he said it would work for a few thousand miles, then it would crack and look like shit. Thus my new plan... Which will be further developed later tonight.
Here's what I've done so far. I'll post pictures leading up to a final product, and if people like it then I'll make a write up for it.
Sanded, filler and glazing putty.

More sanding, primer, followed by more sanding, and more primer.

I just put on the glossy black, and I'm really happy with the results. Tomorrow I'm painting the inside of the CAMARO red.
