You know what? I just ordered those speakers last night. Just got an email tonight saying that UPS will be here with them tomorrow!

It's been one of those weeks :D

I have Hertz in the doors and custom tweeter pod on the top of the doors. I'm not sure whether or not to just delete the rears or replace them. For now, I'm keeping the HU until I figure out how I want to set up some 10's in the rear. I want my trunk space.

But, yeah. I now know where to get them cheaper LOL!

That Suck! But you will enjoy them I promise!

so the install is easier with these? no drilling or is it the same as the eu 700 or whatever they are?

That's where I got mine $54 each awesome deal!!!!

As far as install I had some small self tappers that worked great if not you will have to drill holes... They also didn't come with hardware .

So even with the ''Kicker'' Kind found at http://www.audio-warehouse.com/web/m...652/detail.asp they still wont just go in? I would need to do the same as if i wanted the eu 700, do you have any pics on how you did it? I just want something that i can put in, plug in, bolt down and be done with.

Well, we already have the 6.5's stock. I'm putting in the kickers to tide me over until I figure out how I want my setup for the 10's and amps etc...

Then, I'll probably take the rear hatch hookups and put them in the sails. :dunno:

Did you ever install the kickers? just ordered a set wondering how hard to install

Nope. Not yet. One came and I am still waiting on the other.

The one I did get didn't come with any hardware as someone here had posted.

I just opened it up and checked it out real quickly. Been kind of busy with Thanksgiving since I am the one doing all the planning, shopping and cooking :D

The other will hopefully get here soon, but, not sure when I'll actually get to it.

I will post when I do though.

I'm the one who said no hardware in mine. Try like home depot i got some small black self tappers. They worked great. Let me know what you think of the speakers when there installed. Good Luck Bryan

I have some somewhere in my box in the garage. Did you have to drill at all? And, did you put any sound deadener in there?

One other question. As I said, I just looked at it quickly and there is a solid plate that came in the box. Heh... not sure what that is for or how to use it? :thinkin:

The documentation that came with it was less than helpful as well...

I didn't drill any holes just used self tappers.i also didn't used any sound deading material. i drove the car for over a month before i put it away for winter no rattles or vibrations that i could hear.

(self-tapping screws do the drilling for you... be sure you have an electric drill on hand though because it's tough to run them by hand with a screwdriver (: )
