This can be verified via the trim tag which will contain the exterior and interior color (and whether or not it was deluxe or standard interior), build date and not much else. 68's are the most cloned 1st gen due to this. It does have a 68 and later SS hood. FWIW: SBC SS hoods are similar to 67 til they exhausted supply, whereupon they used the same hood as the BB cars had (8 grid simulated intake setup). This is aso a popular aftermarket setup availably from several vendors.
