Morning. I feel like I was beat up by a gang of people yesterday.
Too much roller coaster abuse, as well as walking for around 10 hours. I am getting old.
Having an absolute blast at the office this fine Sunday morning... not.
Going to be a fun Monday, 5 hearings in Wellsboro and then 1 in Elmira with just enough time between them to make it if I drive fast enough.
Nice sunny Sunday after we had all rain yesterday, can't wait to wash the cars!
No sign at the neighbors.....yet......but one can hope.......
There's a reason I live where I do, and it's so I can shoot, and blow things up, and make noise. Mind you, I am respectful of the time, as I don't want to be inconsiderate when people are normally sleeping. But, everything I do is within the limits of the law, so it really doesn't matter. Hopefully the deputy, who was quite impressed with the 400 yard rifle range I have setup - I'm suprised he didn't ask to use it, but I think he wanted to  - made it clear to my neighbors. They certainly don't seem to want to confront me in person.......I wonder why?
waiting for the guy to jump from space
Spaz finally lit a fart, didn't he?
Won a turkey. Yippy!
How far away do these people actually live from you Walt?
Not far enough. Their house is about 50 to 60 feet to the west of my house, with a shallow woodline between us. Unfortunately, the neighbor doesn't understand what survey stakes are and how they relate to property boundries, and decided to thin out the woods between our houses. My wife is convinced he did this so he could see into our backyard better. A privacy fence will be in the works shortly methinks. I own about 10 acres, which allows for my rifle range, with enough backstop so as not to worry about hitting anything. They own approximately 1 acre. With 9 or 10 dogs, a couple of kids, 4 vehicles, and a chicken coup, partially on my property as well. They are the definition of white trash.
Spent the afternoon with my brother and his daughter before running up to the airport to send them back to Anchorage. Didn't quite work out though as Detroit was having weather issues and they held my brother's plane in Elmira - never even moved from the ramp. He ended up coming back to my parents and will try again tomorrow morning.
Jeff, how big is the building you are having put up? Dad is looking to build one next year possibly and is trying to get an idea on pricing vs size for pole buildings.
40' x 60' with 2 garage doors and 1 steel entry door, 12 foot ceiling and a 4-12 pitch roof. Total package price (not including the pad prep or driveway) was $27,700.
Mornin.
Sure is.
Good morning.
Calling the contractor this morning to let him know that the driveway and pad are all set to go. Should be getting started some time in the next week or two if all goes well.
Thanks for that, Jeff.
I am also on the hook to rent the guys a Porta-John... forgot to mention that.
