Been out in the driveway scrubbing transmission parts. Wanted to get most of the nasty stuff off them before I drop them in the parts washer.

How goes school?
It's going pretty good, but this week is hell.
I have my first graded assignment due on Monday for writing: first draft of a memo about jurisdiction using New York's long arm statute.
Have a practice midterm due for contracts on Friday. Ungraded and only 1 question. I'm pretty sure the professor gave it to us because he's mandated by school policy to give a practice midterm.
According to my civ pro professor, my class just finished most of the difficult parts of civ pro(subject-matter/personal jurisdiction and conflict of laws(erie doctrine, yay!). Rest of the semester is mostly federal rules of civil procedure(pleadings, joinders, etc.).
Going through negligence in torts. Reading cases on res ipsa loquitor at the moment.
Coincidentally, one of the cases I have to cite for my writing class is about a guy that brought his 1969 Camaro to a shop in PA to have some work done to it, but they barely did any work on it after taking his money and promising to have it done.
What I found extremely weird in the case though was the damages he was claiming.
"The plaintiff claimed that, prior to his delivery of the Camaro to Cornerstone, it was
worth approximately $100,000. He asserted that, after proper installation of the cross-ram, it would
have been worth approximately $200,000. The plaintiff claimed that after the defendants
disassembled the Camaro, and upon his recovery of the still-disassembled vehicle, it was of nominal
value and may not be restorable to the condition it was in when delivered to Cornerstone."
What kind of Camaro is worth that much money?!
Ahhh, the joys of subject matter jurisdiction and conflict of laws.
I wouldn't. I'd do the work myself. But, an investor might. Especially if they don't know how to wrench. Seems like there are more of those who own those types of cars.
I hate that kind. All I want is a 68 or 69 Charger but now have to sell both my kidneys just for a basket case one
It means he wants to sleep with you and in man speaka he is saying "Wanna bone?" lol
Just make sure the curtains are not within reach and that you dont take it in the rump!
Sounds like me.
Dan/Steve is here. Just got home from class. Watching the Matrix in class. There is a hottie in there and I think I am going to test out my game on her.
Groovy man. I need to get up and check it out.
If you pay someone else to do it does the liability not shift to them? Maybe thats why people dont do their own work so if it gets f'd up they dont have to pay for it.
:suicide:
Mornin.
Greetings.
where am i??? what year is it??? oh damn it... time machine is broken again... looks like i won't be getting them winning loto numbers after all...
Another wonderful night at home last night. Blah.
Sad to hear that Steve Jobs died so young.
Only if she was goofy lol Maybe more like "Oh my god" perhaps a bit of shock... and later proud of you if she has any sense... but it does not depend on your gender. At emergencies I tend to also get there and help. It is a character thing. And it would speak highly about you as a person. :)
Now the care at the anniversary is sexy but always best if both do that...and again does not speak at gender.
And sadly, it is not 2 men out of billion... the rare men are the kind ones, the gentle ones, bc society teaches that gentleness is weakness and too many women hurt gentle men too. Mostly you get posturing (false confidence), empty authority, and nice only at first. It is all about proportions... about balance. I have, for example, never met a man as strong as Spaz, yet his greatest power over me is how gentle he is with me.... keeps my shields from coming up. What I like best about this conversation is that it can only be had with a man/person who actually cares about these things. Plenty of nice folk in here :)
:coffee: need.....
Got a better look at that red WS6 today at the stoplight. It has 20's on it that stick out way beyond the fenderwells. By the time I got my camera on he was already thru the light and out of range. And I know now he's not a teenager, looks to be around by age.
