I need to get mine done by a pro. I did it myself at the beginning of the last two seasons. Never fully happy with the results. I need to find a very reputable place though. I don't want just a car wash with detailing service.

Used the 02 to jump start the bike and then took out the radiator on the 98 :)
Found some pretty cool 18" rims with tires for really cheap for the Birdy!
Off to wet sand passengers side of car.
Hey LSCya, Scott here. If you don't mind drivin over to Kearny, NJ, I know this lady that does phenominal detailing. Her Name is Debbie and she has been doing this for about25 or so years. She does all of my vehicles: T/A, Yukon, and my Harley. Figure about $200 for the TA, that includes inside and out, under the hood, and she even puts the car up on a lift so she can clean the INSIDES of your rims! Here is her work #: 1-201-997-5523.
Give her a call and tell her Scott sent you over. She does an EXCELLENT job!
:yay:
started it for the first time in 2 months. still waiting on my lower control arms
ordered a new pass.side window motor for it.next weekend's project.
Good looking out Scott. You car looked EXCELLENT at last years picnic. I'll have to give her a call. I have a friend in the area i could probably spend the day with while she works... hell i'd be willing to help! lol
Placed the order for the new 9" rear end and 3 point sfcs. Now I wait.....
Removed the seats in preparation for painting the interior with POR-15 this afternoon. Let me just say that I'm glad I have T-tops, cause those seats would not have come out with the roll cage blocking half the door.
Drove it finally
ls1camino Hey can you post some pictures of your interior project.I`m gonna do the same project but gonna replace my carpet.I`m gonna use por-15 on the floor then dynomat it.Then want a small cage, also just wanna see what your cage looks like.
put her on the lift... tomorrow i drop the rear out and go all mad scientist disecting it... taking the backing plates off of her to give to knight (next weekend) and snag a rear from him... :D
Oh yeah, ordered the u-joint too. Need to get some more gear fluid.....
Bought an MGW short shifter and a metal shifter boot clip since my plastic one is in a million pieces.
I took the bird on a 3000 mile trip to Key West, Florida and back!!:woot:
Got all the fine scratches and swirl marks buffed out, and now got a coat of polish curin on her :) Was gonna drive her to a local cruise-in tonight, but mother nature decided she's gonna go on yet another schitzophrenic bi-polar crazy rage again tonight.....
sounds like you have the detailing stuff down.... i wish i could have you do my car.... but that's a hell of a drive for a detail and some good company. i'd mess it up just getting back up here!
