I got the sunfire brand new in '96 ordered it from the dealer, we got $2,000 off. Better than nothing!

I bought the T/A ina private party deal, didn't go through a dealership.

Mine have been good to me too! Especially that sunfire...180,000 miles and still kicking!

I hope my Grand Am goes that long. :yup:

83,000 on it now. Motor is great....tranny is having line pressure issues though.

My WS.6 is miles from stock at this point.
Pulled the LS1 for a 402 at 29,000 miles.
It now has 32,500 miles on it.

I had to replace the transmission in the sunfire at 110,000 miles. But it was worth it!

I haven't done anything to my Trans Am. I got it w/ 9,000 miles on it! It was a good deal! Now I have 40,000 something on it...I like to drive it. I can't help it!

Isn't that part of the success in giving it up? You have to realize that it had a "power" over you and can again IF you let it?

Closest thing for me was regular Coke (Coca-Cola). Drank it constantly. Then C2 and now Coke Zero took its place. I realize that if it wasn't for a no calorie alternative like Coke Zero, I'd still be drinking the sugar-laden version.

I can't stand Diet Coke, but Coke Zero is great!!!

I can deal with replacing it...as long as it is only once. :lol:
I actually think it is just a module in the tranny. Never had any shavings or anything, and it works perfect when the fluid is thick (cold).

Well, I got it done at a dealer...it was $2,300 something. It wasn't refurbished, it was brand new!

Wasn't a dealer for mine.
The guy that runs the shop was a lead mechanic at a GM stealership for 15 years before going on his own.
