Nitrous expands the air molecules at least 10x normal. That can cause extreme heat on the pistons. So adding more fuel into the mix with the n20 helps cool things down. But when you're going for that amazing time slip....you're not lifting when the motor is screaming in pain. So good tuning to add fuel down rpm range is needed. Plus a higher flowing fuel pump to make sure there is plenty of fuel feeding the motor. Plus for you M6 guys an electronic window switch added in to limit the nitrous from spraying between shifts or over-reving. That's basically it but with a few other details.
