Decided that while everything is off the engine for the cam swap that I would try and paint the block and whatnot. I think it turned out pretty well considering the engine is still in the car

I still got a ways to go (like painting the rest of the engine bay!) but that's all I did for today

i like the use of tin foil....
My buddies and I call that the AEROSOL OVERHAUL it will look alot nicer than it did and that matters.

i took care of the overspray on the engine mounts and such, and gave the bay a light coat of black

Seriously though- big improvement man! If you could do something about that plastic overflow can it would be even better but those don't clean up very well. Maybe take it off, drain it and spray something inside it to clean it- something harsh.
