Need a good starting point for hp tuners on my T/A

I have a 1999 A4 T/A with long tubes, ory, ls6 intake, 85mm tb, slp lid, and the ocassional 100 shot of nitrous. I just purchased hp tuners and would like a tune that would work as a foundation to build upon. Does anyone have one that they can share? Any advice from HPT users out there? I'm considering removal of torque management. I also plan to turn the SES light off for the air pump and egr codes due to the fact that they are deleted on my car. Can anyone recommend settings for the shift points and rev limiter? I'm thinking that I should leave the timing alone being I'm spraying..... thoughts?

do you have a wideband? If not I would get one. I wouldn't trust that slp maf especially spraying until you know what your AFR is. Dry or wet shot? I would spend some time reading at hptuners forum getting to know the software before you just dive in head first. The very very first thing I would do is get a wideband and see what your AFR is with that MAF before going any further.

I do not have the wideband and only ordered the standard suite so I'd need to upgrade the HPT + buy a wideband. I don't have an slp maf (just an slp lid). I'm using the stock maf. I have a NX wet kit with window switch turning on at 3000 and off at 5800. I don't plan to use any aftermarket maf.

I may end up with a wideband and the upgraded pro suite but want to make do for now with what I have for now. With that said, what are your suggestions?

I will do so but I'm waiting on the hpt suite (it's in the mail). I'm just planning ahead and looking for advice. I will certainly send a data log of the car running on nitrous and n/a. Thanks for your help!

You should have got the Pro and wideband to tune for that 100 shot at WOT.

since you don't have your egr you can log the wideband through that

Explain that a bit. Are you saying that I can buy a wideband and wire it into the egr wiring and then use the standard suite to read/log the data? I'm assuming that a wide band 02 works on a 5v sweep.
