Transmission Mount
Hey just needed an answer on this. I installed a polyurathane transmission mount and it is a little bigger than the stock one that was broken. I had to jack the transmission up to get the crossmember to bolt up to the floor. Will this affect anything as far as driveability or what haven't had a chance to drive it yet because of the weather. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Steve

yeah it can , it can mess up your drive shaft angle which puts pressure on the the drive train..........what mount did you buy? if you got a energy suspension mount then dont use the preload plate and grind down the two bumps on the top.......if you got a prothane mount throw that piece of shit in the trash and buy a ES mount

Ive had better results with the prothane. The ES mount shakes me to shit.

funny mine was just the opposite

I need to get my driveline angles set. I think that causes 99.999 percent of the vibrations. I wish I could find my stock 1le mount :(
