Cam upgrade package ordered.

Hi Everyone,
After much research of forums in Aussie and the States iv'e ordered an upgrade package for my VX GTS from Texas Speed.

Cam: TSP 228R, 228/228 - .588/.588 LSA 112
PRC Double valve spring kit with Titanium retainers etc
Chromemoly push rods
Rollmaster double roller adjustable timing chain
LS7 lifter kit
Ported LS6 oil pump
Complete gasket/bolt kit for the job.
Cost landed to NZ is about $2000 NZD which isnt too bad.[about $400 is freight]
At the moment the car is std except for cats removed and an EFI LIVE tune and did 245 rwkw, so ill fit a CAI with a BMC Vortex filter as well as the above bits and see what the improvemnt is. I've owned it for about 3 months now and must say the performance in std spec isnt anything to rave about.Ill post results.

at first I was like wtf? $400 freight charge, but then I notice your location lol ... you picked a great cam.

Since my last post i ordered a 25% UDP and a twin 3" cat back sytem too.Ended up ordering a kit for a mate too so the freight worked out good between the 2 of us!
